Blizzard Conditions the last few nights caused large drifts.  More Snow…predicted for the weekend.
USE CAUTION ♦
                     The Trails are Rideable… but there are icy areas under this lastest snow! And, there are a few side detours due to water/thin ice in low lying areas.
                       
TRAIL CONDITIONS:
  • Lyndale Trail = not groomed, ice cover too thin for groomers deep ditch water underneath.
  • Nerstrand State Park = not groomed, ice covering hills too risky for groomers to negotiate safely.
  • River Bend Trail = not groomed, ice cover too thin for groomers deep ditch water underneath.
  • South & Sakata Trails = 40% good, 40% fair, 20% very poor to poor * Large drifts in spots and also bare areas.
  • North, West, Roberds Lake Trails = 75% good, 15% fair, 10% poor conditions * Few small detours around water / thin ice areas
  • East & South Airport Trails = 70% good, 15% fair, 15% poor conditions * Few small detours around water / thin ice areas
OFFICIALLY THERE IS ONLY  TEN (thats correct10) DAYS AND THE TRAILS ARE CLOSED.
UNOFFICALLY THIS SNOW MAYBE AROUND LONG PAST EASTER.   
RESPECT PROPERTY OWNERS STAY ON THE TRAIL OR THEY MAY NOT BE THERE NEXT SEASON.

What ever happens… happens! OUR TRAIL TEAMS will be going out as soon as frost is out to pull the trail signs.
