Snows gone, area is wet, riding on it will damage the ground. Lately we’ve seen ATV’s operating on the trail, this is illegal. ATV’s are prohibited from operating on snowmobile trails at anytime; Snowmobile Trails are open from Dec 1st to Apr 1st no matter if snow or not. Thus any ATV’s operating on the Lyndale Trail along Hwy 21 / CSAH 48 through town are illegal. PLEASE PASS THE WORD! Extra Patrol from Law & Conservation Enforcement agencies has been requested. Also in Rice County ATV’s cannot operate in the ditch from Mar 1st to Aug 1st by county ordinance.
Irresponsible acts such as these are one of the fastest ways to get trail permission revoked.
