Winterfest 2023
Mild weather and crowd attendance made it a successful year for tent sales during and after the parade. The club had a good fund raiser from the hot dog, cookie, and beverage sales. Thank you to everyone who volunteered time working the tent, donated cookies or supported the club by stopping by. We had the tractor and float with the Groomer Fund Raiser Display Board in the parade. The Groomer Sign Fundraiser was successful. Thank you to those who volunteered time decorating the float and driving it in the parade. The 50/50 raffle was successful. Thanks to Bree DeGrood for donating her winnings back the club!
THANKS to the DONORS and Everyone that helped with this fundraiser!!
MnUSA Calendars
We reached our goal and sold all 120 MnUSA Calendars. By reaching the goal, the club received $5 for each calendar sold. There are 365 prizes that range from $2500 to 20 for $250 or more and $50 on each remaining Saturday & Sunday, $25 on each remaining day Monday to Friday. Good luck to all who purchased a calendar.

New Tractor for Grooming
Members were on the lookout for a second tractor for trail grooming. A 2012 John Deere 6330 with wheels and only 1900 hours was purchased. A low-profile snow blade was also purchased. The additional tractor will save grooming time so trails can be ready and in good condition.
Former Club Member
Former club member Kert Peterson passed away on December 22 following a courageous battle with cancer. Kert played a big part in the East Trail (Earl Graham’s) for many years. Our thoughts go out to Kert’s wife Judy and their family.
