SOME Snow…not enough for trails to be usable yet!
Cold helps the progress of making ice – for our Radar Run Jan 21st. Tested Cannon Lake ice eariler this week; thickness was 8 inches along our track area.We’ll be working with Rice County Sheriff’s Office & MN DNR – -testing thickness again next week to determine IF safe for traffic on lake. Forecast is for cold nights and temps mostly in the 20-30 degree range during the day. Potential for a bit more snow which may give us a modest coverage.
