YOUTH SNOWMOBILE SAFETY TRAINING
The Faribo Sno-Go Club, in conjunction with the Minnesota DNR and Faribault Parks and Recreation, is once again sponsoring Youth Snowmobile Safety Training. Students need to be age 12-15, age 12 by Feb. 15, 2013. The course requires attendance at both classroom sessions, successful completion of CD course work, and a driving test for certification. Access to a computer and printer is required. The DNR Safety CD will be given to the students on Nov. 5th and will need to be completed prior to the November 19th class. It is mandatory for parents to attend the first 1/2 hour of class on Nov. 5. The snowmobile driving test portion will be administered once adequate snow cover allows. Pre-registration at Faribault Community Center is encouraged as space is limited. Call the instructor at 507-210-0266 for more information.
Meets Mondays, Nov. 5 & 19, 2012. (Birth certificates are required at time of application, no exceptions.)

State law requires those born after Dec. 31, 1976 to possess a safety certificate for snowmobile operation.
