Update on Trail Grooming

Groomer went East and South yesterday, so the trail from Faribault to Goodhue County line and Steele County line is groomed. Today groomer is out from Faribault to Millersburg on North trail and will be grooming West trail to LeSueur county line. Trails are good, plowed fields in spots are a little low on snow.

Just a note on Sakatah State Trail, trail is groomed all the way to Eagle Lake after that there is too many large drifts on the trail for our groomer to get through. With 5 miles of 6-to-8-foot drifts on the trail and nowhere to push the snow because of the trees. The state needs to get a large snowblower in there. This has been a problem on this part of the trail for years.
