Youth Snowmobile Safety Training
Was on held Sunday January 11th
We had 18 kids attend the Youth Snowmobile Safety Training class. Thank you to
Mike & Cheryl Clevenger, Dale & Laura & Dawson Drentlaw, Donna Slinger and
Larry Shepherd. Thank you to Met Con & Travis Beaupre for furnishing the
facility.
January 31 – Vets Ride, Grand Rapids.
The Minnesota United Snowmobilers Association and Minnesota Snowmobile
Education and Advancement Fund will hold their 17th Annual Veterans
Appreciation Snowmobile Ride. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and lodging is provided
to the attendees and snowmobiles are available to those that want to try
snowmobiling but do not have one. Others are invited to come along and bring
their own snowmobile. All veterans and active-duty military personnel are
invited to attend this annual event. Go to the website for more info,

Grooming
There have been 3 trips to Mankato so far grooming the Sakatah trail. Tony
used the new tractor with the small drag and the blade worked well.
Thank you to Tony Balata for all the work he has done on the trails.
Our club is seeking volunteers to construct and install a new bridge this
spring, if interested please reach out to one of the members.

amount of $100, Faribault Interiors in the amount of $100,
Kevin& Connie Borkowski in the amount of $200. In addition,
we received $1000 from the Tri Lakes Sportsmen Club.
Also, the club would like to say “THANK YOU” to Randy
Velishek for his many years of service to the Sno Go Club. He
has been an extremely valuable member with countless hours
of volunteer service!
Club Member Dues
Current members are 63. There were 18 renewals this
month plus 3 or 4 were new memberships. There are 4
expiring in the next 30 days.
