Sakatah State trail west of Elysian had a lot of larger drifts that needed to be knock down. That section of the trail always has been a problem with drifts. Our groomer has its work cut out for us to keep this trail smoothed. Trail is groomed from Faribault to Hwy 12 in Mankato, groomer driver said trail is mostly good with some spots where pavement is not snow covered. If we get more snow, it will be easier to keep it up. WE NEED SNOW, the rest of our trails do not have enough snow on them to make them useable. We tried our new blade for the drifts, and it seemed to work well.
